Re: Part I of Erik's Story - Dealing and Early Days
You get to the Bazaar uneventfully. Immediately four vendors surround you, three shoving their wares in your face. "Fish here!" "Buy some Nuts son!" "Broach is handsome!"
The last is a slim youthful elf-man in a green tunic. "Bazaar Tour, and I'll point out the Conmen."

Erik looked at the young elf and nodded "Thank you" He said with a smile, he didn't exactly trust the elf but it was a better chance then going out on his own, he would keep and eye to see if anything unlawful was happening around this place, he wanted to test it and this would be the best way

"You can pay me at the end if my service is good." Says the elf jovially. He leads you through the crowd pointing out anything you could wish to buy, and several things you could never imagine wanting. While passing by a kebab stall you spot someone in the shadows, they seem to be picking the lock on a small chest, the meat seller (human?) appears to be distracted with several goblin customers.
Re: Part I of Erik's Story - Dealing and Early Days
Erik smiled, thinking of the specific law that forbade theft and cast the spelt he learned by knowing the law to bind him, hopefully that should cause the person to be noticed and caught

Erik smiled as he muttered the law under his breathe. He felt a combination of adrenaline, insight and the sensation of stuffy meetings flow through his veins. "Law breach 0230, attempting to break into shop owners chest, permit action" He muttered, moving his hand slightly,
a spark of blue erupted from his palm with a quiet splashing sound, and zapping over to the thief; binding her and feet together with glowing blue bonds, Erik smiled slightly, and waited to see if anyone reacted, he didn't want to seem bold or big headed. At that moment a spell drifted into his mind.

The blue bonds formed lemnisca (infinity symbol) around the lock-picking womans limbs. She fell to the ground with a clumpf. She had tanned skin, short dark hair and pointed ears. The thief strained against her bonds and glared up at you, unable to speak.
A strained look came over the shop keepers eyes, he finished selling the meat, trying not to ruin business. Then turned to face you. He looked back and forth at you and the thief. "I didn't know the plain coats were still active in these parts..." He mumbled. "Ah... Sir, I can see you have just saved me and my family... If that theif had..." The man trails off.
The thief was unable to cast spells, or move even. But the thief had a friend.
A wolf with blazing green eyes, wearing dented and worn armour burst out of the nearest alleyway.

Erik blinked and looked at the beast "If you have a beast like that why resort to theft" He looked at the thief, he tried to think of a way out of this situation, he doubt he could fight such a thing, though maybe he didn't have to, if he could outlast it surely someone would come to take these 2 away he looked at the shop keeper "I think this counts the need for law enforcement, see if you can get them involved, I'll try and prevent this animal hurting anyone" He said

=Hard Choices=
Trying to convince the Shop keeper...
He... Calls the indelicate boros..
Or
Runs away unhelpfully.
And...
The th thief sneered at Eric's attempt at Diplomacy. The wolf knelt back, tensing as if to pounce.

Re: Part I of Erik's Story - Dealing and Early Days
Erik looked around and smiled he jumped on the stall as the shop keeper ran for help and whistled "Hey! I am the one who trapped your friend! Come and get me!" He yelled with a laugh as it charged at him, he jumped back and got the wolf stuck in meat hooks and tied it up and looked at the elf "So, why?" He asked as he sat next to her

Re: Part I of Erik's Story - Dealing and Early Days
The wolf growled, and then whimpered in its trappings.
Up close the elf woman looked quite beautiful, in a rugged and detained sort of way. She scowled at Erik again, opening her mouth and failing to produce words... The inside of her mouth looked irritated, there was a long scar on her tongue.
And... Quite ridiculously... The Silhouette of a six legged eye was tattooed on the side of her face, at an angle an with slight inconsistency that one might guess it had been forced placed.

Erik bend down to her ear "How do you know about dimir?" He whispered in her ear he looked at her, wondering if he could use a clause to set her free, he would have to wait of course to see her answer

The thiefs eyes widened as Erik neared. She grimaced, then exposed her mouth again; unable to talk. A mute.
Mute, tattooed... Set up?
The sounds of about ten people marching uniformly approached from around the block.
The elven guide began to edge away slowly. "The Legion..." He muttered under his breath, not a fan.

((It would be similar to detain in its flexibility. You increase the targets Life/Toughness by six times the given number, capped at 10 times their toughness.
However, along with other debuffs, scarring exists in the form of -1/-1 counters and only an appropriate effect may remove them.
Extra info : the Cmc of a spell subtracts from the roll, so you essentially get a -2 for Abuna Chant. Also, mentioned a 'turn' can vary from a few minutes to a day, inversely proportional to the efficacy or epicness of the interpreted effect.))
